Industrial software veteran brings extensive experience as we accelerate our market share within the machine vision industry

As part of its ongoing drive to help manufacturers maximize the value of their machine vision systems and introduce scalable deep learning solutions, Eigen Innovations is expanding its leadership team – adding bench strength in the form of industrial software veteran Jon Weiss

Jon is an industrial innovation and technology executive who has worked with some of the most cutting-edge manufacturers and technology organizations around the world. He specializes in helping them reduce costs and improve their operational efficiencies by supporting the life cycle of transformational solutions and bringing resilient solutions to the market.

“Jon’s been working with us as an advisor for the past two years,” said CEO Erin Barrett.  “He is just as excited as the rest of our Eigeneers about defining smart vision for the smart factory. He truly understands the opportunities and challenges of selling technology solutions to industrial companies. With his exceptional experience, drive and enthusiasm, I’m thrilled to have him on the team full-time”

As CRO, Jon will oversee all revenue generation activities at Eigen including the Sales and Marketing functions – driving sales in Eigen’s machine vision software and engineering services.

“In my previous role, I had a lot of opportunities to see pitches from companies marketing innovative technology solutions to industrial customers,” said Weiss. “Eigen immediately stood out because they focused on giving factory teams and integrators tools that could help make machine vision more valuable – standardizing image data, creating digital product twins and integrating with control systems. Most importantly, they were focused on developing solutions that scaled and drove real outcomes. Now I’m excited to have the opportunity to help Eigen scale.”

Jon is leaping right into his new role. You’ll find him at Eigen’s booth (Hall B5 Booth 105) at Automatica in Munich starting Tuesday, June 27. If you’re attending the show, drop by the booth and say hello.
